The Williamsport Area School District is accepting applications for TEMPORARY Summer School Lifeguard to supplement the Williamsport Area High School Summer School Health/Physical Education Program. For Current Internal Candidates Only. This position is for 1 week only, 9am-11am; June 8 - June 12, 2026. Location is Williamsport Area High School, subject to change as determined by the Superintendent or his/her designee. Wages are as per the collective bargaining agreement. Certified Lifeguard and First Aid/CPR Certificate Required. Current experience with lifeguarding in a school setting required. Qualifications for this position shall be based upon applicable verified work experience, verified educational/training/credentials, applicable testing results and the District’s defined qualifications for the position.  Qualifications for this position are defined solely by the District, including an employee’s work attendance, disciplinary history, credentials and other job specific qualifications.  **This positions is not available to current employees whose normally scheduled work year includes summer hours.** EOE.
